Mersen's HP6M photovoltaic (PV) fuse series was specially developed for the protection of PV string cabling for 600VDC photovoltaic systems for private and commercial rooftop systems. Its improved construction makes it ideal for continuous temperature and current cycling and extends the life of the system. The HP6M with a nominal voltage of 600 VDC was developed for a low minimum breaking capacity of 1.35 times the nominal fuse current value and enables safe circuit interruption under typical low fault current conditions that are generated by PV generators.
