The Protistor fuse link offers maximum flexibility in equipment design and ultimate protection for today's current transformer systems. This fuse was developed for partial semiconductor protection in order to protect converter UPS systems, motors and similar devices from the consequences of overloads. The fuse is made up of pure silver and punched out elements that are embedded in hardened sand and thus offers protection against arcing. All contact surfaces are silver-coated and the entire fuse is non-magnetic. The NH fuse-link has a vertical design, with screw lugs with a pitch of 80mm and a function indicator which, in addition to its visual display function, can also be used to remotely report the fuse function by means of an additional microswitch.
